If you have never used a touch screen car radio, take the leap. After market radios are not perfect. For instance sometimes this one doesn't turn on when the key is turned on. It takes a couple of tries, but this is rare. Also it has a backup camera. Huge benefit.
It hooks up to a smart phone and can play music or take calls. It allows you to put music on a USB drive and play it directly. It plays CDs and DVDs. All installed for about $850. Oh and it has am/fm radio. It has serius radio and spotify which I don't use.
It's such a big jump from the good old days it's hard to believe how well it works.
The steering wheel in this car has radio buttons on it. With the old radio I never used them. Weird. The install guy asked if I used the buttons on the steering wheel and I said what do they do? He said they run the radio. Now I run the whole radio from the steering wheel. It's crazy. Your car has to have the buttons but the new radios will use them!
