2007 dodje caliber

• This car has high mileage. Runs about $2k per year at the shop. This is above gas, insurance, and registration . No, you won't get lucky.
• Never fill gas tank full. Will stall shortly after fill-up. Restart as usual. May happen again.
• Engine light comes on, car Bing's.    

      Go to auto parts place. Have them "read codes". It's under steering wheel under the dash.
If oil pressure sensor, wait a day see if it stops. Binging may be very irritating.
If emissions, ignore.
If other sensors, have Anthony's replace.

• Front suspension on driver side rattles or scrapes. Ignore or take to trusted mechanic. Anthony won't fix this. Probably $2k. I ignore it.
• Radio does not turn on when car starts. Turn off car. Remove key. Turn on key but wait 5 seconds. If radio lights up wait until completely booted. Then start car. If this fails, start car and let idle in park 5-10 seconds. Usually radio comes on.
• Rattle in trunk area. This is speaker panel in rear hatch. Tighten with screw driver. 
• Car pulls to right. This will cost more than $1k to fix. Tires wear normal. I ignore.
• Replace spark plugs every 30k miles. Ignore mechanic if they say plugs are fine. Replace them. Helps power!
• Transmission slips at low speed. Flush transmission. About $400.
• Engine or transmission fails, probably trash car.
