my big disappointment with scientists

there are two reasons the oceans could never rise one foot.

1. 75% of the Earth is covered in water already. where is all this new water coming from ?
2. the Earth is a ball. the diameter of the Earth is 7000 miles. to increase the diameter 1 foot requires more volume than 1 foot on a flat surface. there isn't enough ice on the land to raise the oceans much at all. some simple math would make this obvious.

where have all the scientists gone ?
