so let's imagine this is the beginning of a movie. you find out that there is an ongoing pandemic. people are in all different stages of their decisions about like what works and what doesn't work. some governments are saying use lots of face masks other governments are saying face masks are useless everybody says wash your hands. everybody saying social distancing. there's rumors that in certain spots the virus has killed tens of thousands maybe even millions but of course there's no evidence that that's really true. as usual there's no evidence that it's not true. the movie starts to focus on this one guy in his 20s. and as it would turn out this pandemic strikes people kind of like the Spanish flu, in their twenties. he's at his apartment minding his own business. suddenly he hears sirens outside he looks out his apartment window and sees two fire trucks an EMT truck and several police cars zooming into the parking lot of his apartment. they stopped with all their lights flashing. the police hop out and establish as perimeter around his building. emt and policemen come running into the building. the next thing he knows there's banging on his door and they're saying it's the police open up. he looks around kind of confused and then walks over to the door. look's through the peephole and see is a bunch of police and EMT people standing outside. so he does the only rational thing, he opens the door. they all look at it very intensely. they say we've got to get you to the hospital immediately. they put a ventilator over his head. they pull a gurney up and tell him to get on. he sort of mechanically follows their orders not really thinking about it. they strap him down and run for the EMT vehicle. he says can somebody lock my door please. one of the police officer runs back locks his door and closes it. and they put yellow crime scene tape all over his door. they loed him into the back of the empty vehicle close the doors crank up the sirens and head out of the parking lot. but now people are coming out of their apartments looking out of their windows. some people are saying what's going on? a policeman says, everything is fine and jumps in her car. as they zoom off to who-knows-where one of the EMT people remove the straps from the gurney. the guy sits up and looks around somewhat confused. he asks what's going on. someone says everything's fine just relax. and the guy says you wouldn't happen to have a beer with you? one of the EMT people look's over somewhat focusing on what the guy said pops open one of those live organ containers and pulls out a six pack. here this is all we got. wow says the guy thanks this looks like the good stuff.
